We had a wonderful holiday here. With a super nice terrace and great view. We were in the top apartment. It is wonderfully quiet and we really enjoyed the beautiful pool.

Dear reader,

The owners of the apartment complex Brisa (Jos and Jacqueline Domburg) asked us to write a review. Well, we are happy to do that with all our love and pleasure, because we had a fantastic holiday, one with a golden edge.

We stayed with our family (with 2 children 18 and 16 years) in apartment number 4. The apartment is beautiful and tastefully decorated, nothing is missing. Everything was there and clean, with made beds that was very pleasant after a long journey. The air conditioning is present in all rooms that was wonderful to sleep and also very nice to retreat to during the hot sun hours. The view from our balcony was magical and every evening we enjoyed the beautiful sunset.

The outside staircase down brought us to the lovely swimming pool with sunbeds and parasols. Because it is a small-scale complex, we often had the pool to ourselves. It was always very quiet and you had a lot of privacy. The car had a nice safe parking space. The nearest place was Labin about 2 minutes away by car. A cute cozy place with a delicious affordable pizzeria. Reservations are wise. A few minutes further drive you will find large supermarkets such as Lidl, Spar and Plodine.

Jos and Jacqueline are lovely, very hospitable and helpful people. You can ask them anything, nothing is too crazy.

We have done very nice trips. Cities like Pula, Porec, (Baredine Caves) Rovinj are all about 50min drive through the beautiful nature of Istria. All very worthwhile. The harbor town of Rabac is also very cozy and pleasant town, 10min drive from the apartment.

It is also great fun to rent a boat here and enjoy some wonderful snorkelling.

A day at the beach is also not to be missed. The seawater is azure blue. Water shoes are recommended in most places.

We highly recommend this place and surroundings. Istria is beautiful! It was a wonderful holiday. Thank you Jos and Jacqueline.

We stayed 9 days in Brissa apartment 3. Really a brand new, very beautiful and very spacious apartment. Fully equipped and nicely decorated. Excellent bathroom and bedrooms. Spacious well equipped kitchen and a large terrace with fantastic views, lots of privacy and lovely sunbeds. Jacqueline and Jos are incredibly nice and very hospitable. They really do their best to please the guests.

The communal terrace and pool are also great. A lovely large pool with plenty of parasols and sunbeds. Lovely!

The location of the house is great. You are close to the beautiful historic city of Labin where you can walk and enjoy terraces and restaurants. The same applies to the seaside resort of Rabac where there are even more terraces and restaurants and a long walking boulevard. Furthermore, the view from your terrace is really super beautiful.

Location a 9

The facilities are absolutely top, you lack nothing. Facilities a 10.

Everything was neat and clean, so in terms of hygiene it is a 10.

Jacqueline and Jos are super hospitable, caring and helpful, so in terms of service they give a 10.

Price quality also a 10!

We were very satisfied and had a great time in apartment Brissa. We will definitely come back.

Hi Jacqueline and Jos,

Below we are happy to share our findings. We are not the type of people who just give a 10, because then it is just completely perfect and that is not how life normally is. It is just how you look at something.

Our findings are therefore related to the stay in the studio.

Location : 9

View over the hills/mountains sublime

Shops easily accessible by car or electric bicycle

Centrally located for excursions in Istria (everything within 1 hour reach)

Facilities : 9

Everything you need was there. You know you are going to an apt/studio or house and so you have to provide yourself with a number of things for your entire stay.

For some tourists who do not like to cook themselves, but like to heat up food, a microwave might be easier than a convection oven, but if you want to prepare something yourself: top equipped with a gas stove and convection oven.

You live outside, so for us in the studio the outdoor kitchen and furnishings were great.

A tip we would like to give: even though there is an extractor fan in the bathroom, there is no other window that you can open without also getting the bugs that can fly or jump around there (haha my fear of this) inside. Maybe a fly screen door could be very useful.

Swimming pool: wonderful

Air conditioning: not even needed in the studio: nice and cool inside

Possibility to use washing machine: top - certainly to quickly wash the towels during stay. My own laundry that I no longer needed on site we do at home.

Hygiene : 9

Everything was super neat in both the studio and the areas outside

Friendliness and service of the landlord: 10

Yes, here we give the infamous 10

You can ask Jos and Jacqueline anything and they will help you wherever possible

The coziness of having them around: great

Price/quality: 9

VERY correct price/quality ratio in our opinion.

We hope that the rental for naturism will increase enormously also for the summer periods. There should be more apt/studios all over the world that are available for naturism. It is unbelievable how many campsites you find, but apt/studios are much less. So your efforts for this are invaluable to us.
